You Asked / We Did...

  1. Our Comms can be a little too much. Here's what we have done about it.

We want to make sure you don't miss out on anything that is going on within the Network. But as we run so many interesting sessions and events, we understand, this means a lot of emails and can get overwhelming! We realise that some people want all of the emails, some don't want any and some want only what is relevant and of interest. So now, at the bottom of every email we sent out, you can personalise what emails you get from us. We also have started sending out a Friday Digest, a shorter email with what's coming up in the week ahead so if you don't want individual session emails, you still won't miss out! We understand that all of our members interact with the Network in a different way so by giving you the choice, we hope to enhance your experience in a way that means you engage with us however you want to. All of our sessions will still be on CN-X and so you can also plan you week/month ahead of time.

2. You wanted more complaints focused sessions

A few of our members have asked for more sessions about complaints. So, we are hosting 'Complaints Revisited' on 22nd July. This is a full day of 4 online sessions with speakers from DWF Law, Next, Wise and the Ombudsman (Legal, Financial and The Ombuds Group) discussing all things complaints. You can register for these sessions via CN-X.

Following on from this, we are hosting our 'Complaints Forum' In person event on 1st October at BSI in Milton Keynes. The day will consist of sessions that will include case studies, a panel discussion, workshop, fireside leadership in complaints and an opportunity to network with your peers throughout the day. Registration is now open

3. Personal Development

As the Network is truly member led, our members are the core. We want to offer opportunities not just to share best practice, discuss challenges seeing with in your sector and regulatory updates, we want to offer opportunities for personal development too. On 16th July, the wonderful Moira Clark is hosting an exclusive in-person training workshop on public speaking and presenting - how to find your voice and present with confidence, power and influence. You can find more information here

In addition to this, after more feedback for more personal development opportunities, we are hosting a special webinar on 14th July about Imposter syndrome - see more information here
